October is the month of the late harvest for grapes, apples for cider, and acorns. The nights are gradually getting longer and people gather around bonfires, to warm up their body and soul. According to an aborigenes legend, the Creator came down on earth on a rainbow, to bring humankind a message of peace. In the spot where his foot touched the ground, the stones came to life and started sparkling in all colors of the rainbow. It was in October, the birth of the Opals. Opal is a stone reflecting the emotions and the mood of its carrier. It intensifies emotions and gets rid of inhibitions. It encourages freedom and independence.
