I was looking for a name for a watch that I created especially for a young bride. Normally, I would take the name of a goddess or the name of the person I create the watch for. But in the case of this particular young woman, nothing inspired me, so I asked her what flower she would be. “A white orchid,” she responded. After discovering the symbolic significance of the orchid – seduction, marriage, fertility – I knew that I had found the name for this watch.
